March 2019 – ECNC Education and Advocacy Information Session

Prospective donors attended an information session at the Carolina Hotel in Pinehurst to learn about various legislative initiatives of interest. Of specific interest was the issue of contracts that include a “duty to defend” clause. As a result of the efforts of ECNC and various other organizations, legislation was eventually passed (HB871) that made such contract provisions unlawful. Learn more here.
